We want to add sermons to our website, but are not set up to record them. What do we need to this?
You can buy audio converters in computer stores, but the simplest set-up is to run a cable from the main outputs of your mixer (the red & white connectors) to the sound card on your computer. You will just need a patch cord for that, available at Wal-Mart, Radio Shack, etc. You need to run audio recording software on your PC for the input to record. There are many recording software options available online. We recommend the Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/) which is a free cross-platform audio editing software. They offer a useful forum for more information about specific questions you may have. Oftentimes your mixer manufacturer provides support for specific connection issues as well.
If your budget allows it we have a line of CD recorders that will interface with your mixer and CD duplicators so you can give your sermons out on CD as well as upload them to your site. If you need a quantity of a sermon you have uploaded, or have a church promotional DVD, anniversary or special day, we offer volume duplication services and printing too.
